Residential interior design is different in room layout as we know from Europe and Asia – a dedicated space for receiving guest and separate entrance is requested.
A little time back we went to look at a hotel project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One of the owners was at the same time starting his family and wanted a helping hand with his new home.
Together with him we turned the 180 sq.m. apartment into an open space, simply styled interior combined with a bit of Middle East traditional furniture.
It was a joint design venture between us and we were pleased to at the same time learn the local traditions on how to divide the rooms in your home into a guest receiving area and the private space. The knowledge we achieved during this development will be useful for our coming projects in this region.
