Below video give you a short introduction to mall and location – designed by DDG.
Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Europe and Asia and one new life style mall named Akasya is located on the Eastern side of the river. Akasya is the name of a tree, but also means “Asia” and the color “white”. We designed numerous spaces in the mall using the tree as our concept; the out door event place became the forest, the food court located above a tree house, all counters became bird nest and color scheme of course in brown and white.
